Research Presentation and Publication Recognition
Students have earned recognition for research quality and presentation at academic conferences:
- Best Presentation Award (ACMI 2021): Sangida Akter received this award for presenting *"Comparative Analysis of Thermal Hydraulic Parameters of AP-1000 and VVER-1200 Nuclear Reactor for Turbine Trip Concurrent with ATWS."*
- International Poster Competition Champion (Spain, 2025): Md. Marufur Rahman Reyad and Noor Zahin secured first place among 326 international teams with their research on SCRAM impact in VVER-1200 accidents.
Innovation and Technology Competition Success
Student-led projects have achieved national and international distinction:
- Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Awards 2025: The project "RADSAFE – IoT & ML Powered Nuclear Radiation Safety System" (Mubin Hossain Omio under Prof. Dr. Abdus Sattar Mollah) earned Champion status and selection to represent Bangladesh at APICTA Awards 2025 (Taiwan).
- Innovation World Cup 2025: The same RADSAFE project secured a Silver Medal in the Bangladesh national round, qualifying for the 2026 international finals in Indonesia.
