Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at UAE University
Dr. Ahmed Bediwy is a recognized expert in structural engineering and sustainable infrastructure. With a PhD from the University of Manitoba, he has advanced innovative construction materials, including fiber-reinforced composites and eco-friendly concrete. He is the Secretary of the Engineering Mechanics & Materials (EMM) Division of CSCE and founded the ACI Student Chapter at Lakehead University. His work, supported by substantial research funding, aligns with global sustainability goals, focusing on reducing CO₂ emissions and developing green, high-performance construction materials.
