Exemplary Performance by MIST Squads: BUET CSE Fest 2023's Inter-University Capture The Flag Contest
Team ππππ_πππ¦π¬πππ«π¬ (Easin Arafat, Khaled Hasan Irfan, Adib Hossain, and Jamal Uddin Tanvin) and Team CR4CK_P3G45U5 (Shafee Shadman Tonoy, Sejuty Das, Md. Zakaria Hossen Emon, and Istiaque Farouque Nabil) from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), demonstrated exceptional expertise in the BUET Inter-University Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) Competition held on 21st July 2023. Outshining numerous prestigious universities and institutions, Both teams secured 15th and 18th positions in the Final round, showcasing their remarkable skills, dedication, and profound understanding of cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Their journey began with a commendable performance in the Preliminary stage held on 16th July 2023, where they qualified among 30 teams from over 130 university and institutional teams across the country, setting a strong foundation in cybersecurity and ethical hacking for their subsequent success. Both teams' exceptional performance reflects their relentless pursuit of excellence and their commitment to building a solid foundation in the field of cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
